Your faithful generosity during the Christmas season resulted in over $10,000 in gifts towards Northlake's Holiday Wish List. Each of these gifts is a blessing that will directly enrich the learning, creativity, and growth of NCS students, from our youngest learners to our soon-to-be graduates.

Give to the NCS Holiday Wish List

ELC Wish List
The ELC Wish List is centered on classroom enhancements and outdoor play.

TIER 1

A gift of $50 could fund foam rug pads in classrooms for comfortable crawling and exploring!
A gift of $100 could fund an outdoor play vehicle for little Wolverines on the go!
A gift of $150 could fund outdoor rubber playground pads.

TIER 2

A gift of $200 could fund an indoor playhouse for little ones to enjoy in any weather!
A gift of $400 could fund an outdoor playhouse for endless hours of imaginative play.

TIER 3

A gift over $1,000 (or several smaller gifts combined) will help fund the purchase of larger playground sets that ELC students will enjoy for years to come.
A gift of $2,000 (or several smaller gifts combined) will fund the purchase of new buggies for our youngest Wolverines to explore campus on their daily nature walks.

Elementary Wish List
The Elementary Wish List includes everyday classroom tools, enrichment and elective supplies, and items to help our faculty and elementary counselors better serve students' individualized needs.

TIER 1

A gift of $25 can fund the purchase of new library books.
A gift of $50 can fund the purchase of a wobble stool for students who learn best with movement.
A gift of $150 can fund the purchase of an instrument for elementary music or a portable speaker system for PE classes and outdoor lessons.

TIER 2

A gift of $200 can help fund the purchase of sensory furniture and accessories to help create a calming environment when a student needs a break.
A gift of $400 can fund a LEGO Prime STEM set for the STEM lab.
A gift of $700 (or smaller gifts combined) can fund a Makey Makey Educational Science/STEM kit for a classroom.

TIER 3

A gift of $2,000 (or several smaller gifts combined) can provide an entire grade level with classroom sets of readers for their academic curriculum.
A gift of $5,000 or more (or several smaller gifts combined) can fund new Pre-K playground equipment or supply a designated outdoor classroom space.

Secondary Wish List
The Secondary Wish List encompasses all aspects of the student experience - academic enhancements, spiritual and student life, college prep and counseling, athletics, and fine arts.

TIER 1

A gift of $50 can fund the purchase of 3D printer filament for STEM lessons and engineering projects.
A gift of $100 can help stock the art classrooms with supplies.

TIER 2

A gift of $250 can cover a student group's single day college campus visit.
A $500 gift can cover the annual rental cost of a band instrument.
A gift of $500 or more can equip the chemistry or biology labs with consumable supplies.

TIER 3

18 donations of $100 each (or gifts combined to total $1800) will cover the cost of a grade level retreat (including bus transportation, meals, and facility rental).
A gift of $2,500 (or several smaller gifts combined) can purchase a new dumbbell and rack set to benefit all Sports Performance athletes.
4 $1,000 gifts (or several smaller gifts combined) will cover theater rental for a Northlake Theater Co. production.
6 $1,000 gifts (or a number of smaller gifts combined) can fund an athletic banquet for student athletes and parents.

Christian education is vital.

We live in a world where students have so much information at their fingertips, and whether in the classroom, on the ball-field, on stage, or in the hallways, the role of Christian education is to guide students from information to formation – and from knowledge to wisdom.

Whether you prefer to give to a specific facet of Northlake or to give “where needed most,” and whether your gift is large or small, your generosity allows NCS to accomplish its mission of assisting the Christian community in integrating faith and learning.
